History and Introduction

Crescent City Coders was founded in 1999 by Mary Schultheis.  Crescent City Coders began offering individual Coding Training Workshops. In August 2003, the school became licensed by the Louisiana Board of Regents. In 2004, additional programs were added which included EKG Technician. In 2005, the Phlebotomy Technician Program was implemented, and in 2008, the Certified Nursing Assistant program was added, which is approved by the State of Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals. In 2008, Crescent City Coders changed the name to Crescent City Career Institute, to reflect the growing programs being offered.

 

Mission

The programs at CCCI are designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in the continuously growing Health Care Industry.  We seek to provide educational opportunities to all students through a policy of open access.  We are dedicated to providing outstanding, committed, competent faculty, quality curriculum and instruction, and support to help in the development of the student’s attitudes, knowledge, and skills necessary for meaningful employment and positions of responsibility.
